Why Wooden Wicks?

  1. Because they look so beautiful.
  2. They emit a very gentle crackle sound, similar to that of a log fire (although on a much smaller/quieter scale) which in turn can create a pleasant, calming ambiance similar to that of being outdoors/with nature.

Please see our ‘Care & Instructions Page’ on how to burn your candle.

What is the difference between Soy and other waxes?

Soy wax is known as a ‘clean burning wax’ meaning it will not release harmful byproducts into your room, or leave black soot marks on your wall. It is vegetable based and has a lower melting point than other waxes (for example Paraffin) and therefore will burn slower and for longer than paraffin candles.

If I need something in a hurry, can you do this?

We will do our very best! Although our production process is by hand so cannot be rushed, especially if it is a completely bespoke product. Perhaps instead, choose from one of our In Stock candles- which are sent out within 2 days.

Where are your candles made?

All our candles are made in our dedicated workshop in Hubberton, Halifax.

I'm not happy with my purchase, how can I receive a refund or exchange?
